Typhoon Ondoy, international codename Ketsana - sounds cool. Heh. But no. As mentioned here, I've always been happy in the event of typhoons, because it usually means no classes. My view kind of changed after experiencing the wrath of the typhoon itself - and actually making me curious enough of others' situations.

I've always loved rain. Though, having been alerted by the previously upcoming supertyphoon Peping, wariness took over when a strong rain poured.

So I experienced the nature of the disaster I've always been happy about. Only then have I come to sympathize and to consider people not relevant to me (aside from being Pinoy, but that doesn't exactly... mm.)

I don't know whether I'll continue to be apathetic, or change.
